Mike Cooley (of Drive-By Truckers)

Mike Cooley (of Drive-By Truckers) live at Eddie's Attic! Best known as a guitarist, singer, and songwriter for Drive-By Truckers, Mike Cooley is one of the driving forces behind the Alabama band's evolution since the late 1990s. Alongside Patterson Hood, Cooley has helped shape the band's gritty, honest blend of rock, country, and Americana, writing numerous iconic tracks that explore Southern identity, personal introspection, and social commentary. His 2012 solo debut The Fool on Every Corner showcases his storytelling prowess in a more stripped-down, intimate setting, cementing his place as an influential figure in contemporary American roots music.
